As the wildfires destroyed the lives of the residents of LA County, many Hollywood celebrities have joined hands and continue to support the survivors with their efforts. While some have made donations, others did the groundwork and provided the survivors with necessary items.
The ‘Rare’ singer, Selena Gomez donated $5 million to the Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund to aid the members who were affected by the fire.
Jamie Lee Curtis, who lost her home to the wildfires, committed $1 million with her husband and children from their Family Foundation. She continues to share information about relief funds, and the experience of the survivors on her Instagram account, raising awareness for the better.
Sharon Stone, renowned for her roles in the movie ‘Catwoman’, pledged to help the survivors by letting them shop from the store. She posted on her Instagram handle, “The Coop – Please come and shop if you were displaced from the fire. Donations will be accepted starting at 3 PM today. UNTIL 7 pm.” She urged her fans to donate their clothes and set up beds in her house for the people who have been displaced from their homes. Along with Stone, Halle Belly joined her and donated her entire closet for the good cause. Berry shared on her Instagram, “I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP!” She added, “This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today!”
Renowned media personality, Paris Hilton lost her Malibu house in the wildfires. She launched an emergency fund ‘11:11 Media Impact’ for the displaced people with children. She donated $100,000 to the cause and urged the fans to donate some amount and match her numbers.
Jennifer Lopez, on behalf of the ‘Boys and Girls Club of Los Angeles’, posted on her Instagram account about the support and resources provided by the club to the various children and families who lost their homes in the fires.
Jennifer Garner, who lost her friend in the wildfire, devastatingly world on ground during the vulnerable times for those who needed it. She is jointly working with José Andrés by handing out meals to firefighters, evacuees, and many more.
The international icon singer, Beyonce has announced $2.5 million on behalf of her charitable foundation ‘BeyGOOD’, which has recently launched the LA Fire Relief Fund.
Eva Longoria committed $50,000 to the frontline workers and families in need.
