Serena Williams‘ husband Alexis Ohanian enjoyed a fun-filled day of fishing with their daughter Olympia. He shared a heartwarming photo of himself and Olympia holding a fishing rod, brimming with joy at getting to share the experience with his daughter.

Olympia Ohanian Jr. was born to 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in 2017. Since then, the proud parents have often taken to social media to share special moments from her life with the world.

Meanwhile, Serena Williams recently expressed her dismay upon realizing that her daughter Olympia had no enthusiasm for playing tennis, despite her remarkable talent for the sport. Williams vowed to find a way to ignite Olympia’s passion for tennis, as she was determined not to let her daughter’s gifts go to waste.

“Olympia doesn’t actually like to play tennis too much. That’s a little disappointing for me, but she’s actually really good at it. So we are trying to figure out a way to get her to play a little bit.” Serena Willliams said in a recent interview.

Williams unveiled her plans for how she intends to spark the five-year-old’s enthusiasm. She noted that Olympia would likely find it more enjoyable if she played in a group, as she is quite sociable and enjoys spending time with her peers.

“Maybe I can push her into tennis by getting other kids to have a group lesson, I think that’s what I’m gonna do…I really want her to play at least a little bit, because she’s actually really good at it,” she said.

Regardless of Olympia’s decision to play tennis or not, there is no question that she will receive immense support from both her parents in whatever endeavors she chooses to pursue.
