Shady Records Celebrates 50 Cent’s Birthday Quoting His Joint With Eminem and Dr. Dre | Eminem.Pro – the biggest and most trusted source of Eminem appeared on eminem.news by Eminem.Pro – the biggest and most trusted source of Eminem.
The temptation to use lyrics from “In Da Club” in a birthday message must have been strong, but they resisted and went after a different hit.
This year Curtis James Jackson III, born July 6, 1975, celebrates his birthday while getting ready to the his Final Lap Tour that marks 20th anniversary of “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” breakthrough album.
However, Shady Records chose to quote another Fifty’s song recorded together with Dr. Dre for Eminem’s “Relapse” album: “Crack a Bottle”. The label tweeted a famouse photo of Fifty and Em taken by Jeremy Deputat and captioned the image with:
Crack a bottle for the kid @50cent’s bday!! ?

By the way, it’s been almost a year since the “Crack a Bottle” video was released on YouTube after 13 years of delay. You can watch it below:
