Songs I Grew Up On with Dylan Schneider appeared on www.thenashnews.com by The Nash News.
Dylan Schneider is an artist on the rise. The singer-songwriter started writing songs after meeting Brett Eldredge when he was only 14. Now, Schneider is creating a buzz in Nashville; he’s been named by Amazon Music as a “Breakthrough Artist to Watch” and Pandora also deemed him an “Artist to Watch.” He’s toured with artists like Tyler Hubbard and Kane Brown and his breakout track “Ain’t Missin’ You” has over 13 million streams on Spotify alone. He’s the latest artist to share the music that influenced him in our Songs I Grew Up On series.
1. “Rockstar” by Nickelback
This Nickelback track was on an album that Schneider wore out from front to back. “‘Rockstar’ in particular was one that led me to pick up a guitar in the first place, start learning how to play music,” he shares.
2. “Don’t Ya” by Brett Eldredge
Brett Eldrdge grew up near Schneider and seeing his career take off gave Schneider hope as he exclaims, “I think just like that reliability kind of gave me the drive to believe that maybe another kid from the Midwest, you know, could chase this dream and become a superstar someday.”
3. “Anything Goes” by Florida Georgia Line
The country duo’s second album had a ton of influence on Schneider inspiring him by their sound and infectious energy.
