Cute stray dog stops at Subway for dinner everyday
An adorable TikTok video shows a stray dog known as Subway Sally visiting the same restaurant every day for over a year for a meal.
In the viral clip, the pooch can be seen standing outside the door of a Subway in New Mexico, US, and waiting patiently for her dinner. Posting to social media in 2020, a Subway worker revealed she and her colleagues would pack food for Sally, including some of their chicken, bacon, and turkey.
User @Kxnuko said the popular dog doesn’t miss a day as she swings by the food restaurant every day to grab a bite. In the video, they explained that Sally would sometimes pop to Taco Bell in case she missed her sandwich snack for the evening. In a follow-up video, Kxnuko shared that he enjoys feeding her but described the adorable dog as ‘a little messy.’

Addressing a few of the questions he had received on the video-sharing platform, he explains Sally has had four litters of pups since he had been working at the store.
The worker wasn’t able to take Sally home as he lives with cats and said he won’t take her to a shelter as the nearest one 20 miles away has a ‘high kill rate’.
In a ‘finale to my three part mini series on Subway Sally’ he goes out to greet Sally to tell her she’s become the talk of TikTok before showing a group of college girls opening their car door hoping the dog would go home with them. But Sally turns down their offer and is shown again peering through the shop’s glass door, hoping to bag some more tasty treats.
Kxnuko ends the video, captioned: ‘Not to be dramatic but I would die for Subway Sally’, by saying there are ‘a lot of strays’ in his town and Sally, unfortunately, isn’t a special case as he describes the area as ‘poor’ where ‘more often than not people can’t afford pet food’.
He told Subway Sally fans not to worry as the store will continue to feed her and says ‘multiple people’ have tried taking her home but she never wants to go, suspecting she has a regular place to sleep and puppies to care for.
The video, which had received thousands of likes, melted fans’ hearts. One social media user penned: “Sobbing, absolutely sobbing.” Another person wrote: “Please make her the mascot of that Subway, take shifts on taking her home and caring for her.”
