Sumter woman arrested, accused of shooting occupied car appeared on www.wistv.com by Mayra Parrilla Guerrero.
SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) – A Sumter woman was arrested after police said she shot at an occupied car over the weekend.
The shooting happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at Marilyn Avenue.
According to the Sumter Police Department, Christina Marie Hodge, 39, shot at a parked car with two people inside.
One of the victims told police he and another person were sitting in the car when they saw another vehicle drive past and then stop at a nearby intersection when the shots were fired.
No injuries were reported.
Hodge, 39, was later placed in custody at her Dibert Street home and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. She was booked at the county detention center.
Police said the shooting was domestic-related.
Authorities continue to investigate the shooting.
