Tales of Symphonia returns in full HD Remastered as Bandai Namco Entertainment announced its release on Nintendo Switch, PlaySation 4 and Xbox One in early 2023.
Tales of Symphonia tells the story of Lloyd Irving and his adventures together with Collete through the two worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe’alla.
Sylvarant and Tethe’alla, two opposing worlds yet are side by side. A cruel fate where one will prosper at the sacrifice of the other. Sylvarant is on a decline and Collete is to embark on a journey to reincarnate as an “Angel” for the sake of their world. However, for Sylvarant to prosper, it would result in Tethe’alla to suffer. This is the story of Lloyd, who joins his childhood friend, Collete in their journey to save both worlds.
Improved Graphics and Playability.
Together with improved graphics, the HD Remastered also comes with an event skip function for better replayability. Other improvements also include frame rate stabilization during battles and improved sea movements when operating ships to traverse in the two worlds.
The Key to battle is Coordination
The game will pit you into battles where you can make use of different strategies and systems the game has to offer such as:
- Chaining together a variety of “arte” or Skills/Magic to form combos
- Linking together two characters arte to perform a powerful seires of attacks, Unison Attack
- Perform Mystic Artes, a set of special skills that each character has to deal massive damage to the enemies.
Tales of Symphonia was released back in 2003 and the HD Remastered is now set to release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2023.
