The Knight Witch is coming to PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in 2022, Team17 and Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team have announced.
The game takes the form of a shoot-‘em-up with Metroidvania traversal and magic deck building, with players exploring the underground city of Dungeonidas. This once peaceful settlement has fallen foul to an army of war golems, with a lone hero, Rayne, taking up the title of Knight Witch to fight back against the marauding invaders.
The Knight Witch offers over 30 unique spell cards to pick from for your deck-building exploits, while Rayne’s abilities can be upgraded and improved to suit your playstyle as you combat the golems. You’ll grow stronger by basking in the adoration of Dungeonidas’ citizens, either by lying to them to gain their support or being honest by sharing any painful truths.

The development team is comprised of talent who have worked on a number of popular title,s including RiME, Moonlighter, and Plants vs Zombies.
Team17 has yet announced a release date for The Knight Witch, but it’s due out some time this year for PS5, PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
