Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why it’s worth buying a PS4, and what to look out for when buying a console at the end of this life. It’s difficult to give an exact market price for the PS4 right now. Because consoles are currently only used and sold through store bundles.

This is in particular due to the revamping of the PlayStation Plus service, which launched in June 2022. Pay extra for the Extra or Premium tier and get access to hundreds of top titles from PS4 and older PlayStation consoles. If you’re just getting started with the PlayStation line, it’s a lot better value than buying the games individually. However, if you’re looking primarily for exclusivity, the PS4 will be a poor seller in 2022.
