‘The Voice’ Fans Beg Blake Shelton to Be Careful After Seeing His “Wild” Instagram Video appeared on www.goodhousekeeping.com by Adrianna Freedman.
Blake Shelton is taking things easy ahead of The Voice season 23, but what he’s doing in his free time has a few fans concerned.
Ahead of the country singer’s final season on the NBC series, he headed back home to his Oklahoma farm just outside of Tishomingo. Amid a surprise snowfall in late January, Blake chose to do something else other than stay inside. Dressed in warm gear, the “God’s Country” vocalist hopped on his red tractor and did a little bit of work on his land.
“Hey — I’m mowing in the snow because I can!” he said in a video posted to Instagram on February 1. “Woohoo!”
While The Voice fans enjoyed seeing Blake perform yard work on the property he shares with wife Gwen Stefani, the clip left some worried about his safety. Mainly, folks were concerned about how fast he was driving the tractor. What’s more, he captioned the post: “Don’t try this at home.”
“Yay farm update! Please be careful ??,” one fan wrote in the comments. “Looks like [you’re] having a good time be careful [out] there,” another agreed. “You wild and crazy guy…You’re sure having fun .. ??,” a different user added.
While he hasn’t explicitly revealed what he’s doing back home (presumably to spend time with his family), it’s nice to see him relaxed before The Voice premieres on March 6. Based on the show’s latest trailer, he’ll be involved in plenty of antics with fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper.

Aside from preparing for his last season on the hit singing competition series, Blake also plans to head on the road soon. He announced his Back to the Honky Tonk tour in September 2022, and he’s set to perform his first show in Lincoln, Nebraska later this month.
