Era spanning rebellious rock icon, David Bowie, has returned for a third outing on the blockchain. This time, inspiring a myriad of wondrous creations from some of the greatest artists in the digital space.
Through the mighty endeavour, wavering NFT marketplace, OpenSea, has partnered with the David Bowie estate to commission a series of stunning artworks set to debut on September 13. Fans can look forward to the ‘Bowie on the Blockchain’ collection of awe-inspiring creations.
Nine highly respected digital artists have lent their considerable talents to the project, including, teen art sensation Victor ‘FEWOCiOUS’ Langlois, who has incorporated an original Bowie outfit into his sculpture. Additional contributions come from Defaced, Glam Beckett, JAKE, Jonathan Wolfe, Lirona, Nadya Tolokonnikova, Osinachi, and Young & Sick.
Following the sale, 100% of all proceeds will benefit CARE. A not-for-profit organization focused on tackling the problems of world hunger and global poverty.

Despite representing the third collection based on the man who famously championed artists and new technology, Twitter has responded with its now predicable outrage, essentially demanding that all parties involved put an end to this effort to raise money for charity.
