Illinois native Bailey Zimmerman takes No. 1 this week in Beaver Country with “Rock and a Hard Place.” According to Billboard, the song came to be after Zimmerman heard one of the song’s co-writers, Heath Warren, perform it on his Instagram page. He may be newer to the country music scene, but at just 23 years old, he’s hard at work and even has a new album planned for release in May called “Religiously.”
