Warriors’ Draymond Green teases podcast return with ‘I’m back’ Twitter nod to Michael Jordan appeared on www.sportingnews.com by sportingnews.
Draymond Green didn’t let strong criticism about his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show,” stop him from recording as the Warriors battled the Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals, so he isn’t certainly going to stay quiet during the regular season.
The Warriors forward channeled Michael Jordan on Wednesday when he revealed that new podcast episodes were on the way. Green followed the 1995 template that the Bulls legend used to declare he would be returning to the NBA.

“It was a shock, but it was a thrill,” former Bulls guard and current Warriors coach Steve Kerr said of Jordan’s return. “Obviously it changed the course of NBA history. We won the next three championships, the following three years. It was a pretty exciting moment.”
Green hasn’t released a new podcast episode since Oct. 21. That episode featured a conversation between Green and Kings guard De’Aaron Fox. The Volume YouTube channel also hasn’t uploaded any new clips in more than two months.
This announcement comes amid a hot stretch for Green and the Warriors. Golden State is on a five-game winning streak heading into Wednesday night’s game against the Pistons. Green has averaged 6.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 1.8 blocks per game in that stretch.
