Wemade Co., Ltd, a publicly-listed gaming company in South Korea, has announced a strategic partnership with Space and Time (SxT), a decentralized data warehousing company. The partnership aims to provide Wemade with decentralized developer tools to power its blockchain and gaming services.
Wemade offers more than 20 play-to-earn (P2E) games across different genres, including MIR M and MIR4, the world’s no.1 blockchain game on its global open blockchain gaming platform, WEMIX PLAY.
WEMIX, the company’s blockchain developer subsidiary, is building a mega-ecosystem that includes its own mainnet, WEMIX 3.0, NFTs, DeFi, and WEMIX coin.
Additionally, WEMIX plans to launch an Ethereum layer-2 using zero knowledge proof (ZKP) protocols to enhance scalability while ensuring privacy and security.
“We believe that blockchain is the future of gaming, offering gamers greater ownership and control over their digital assets,” said WEMIX CEO Shane Kim. “As the blockchain transformation of traditional games continues to grow, the partnership with Space and Time will help strengthen our blockchain infrastructure capabilities and contribute to our commitment to building an inter-game economy.”
Space and Time offers a full suite of decentralized developer tools that provide real-time, tamperproof indexed blockchain data, a hybrid transactional and analytic (HTAP) data warehouse, and a serverless API gateway for the building of fully decentralized applications.

The platform enables smart contracts to run tamperproof queries directly, opening up a wealth of powerful use cases built on blockchain technology.
Through the partnership, Wemade plans to collaborate with Space and Time in the development of next-generation decentralized infrastructure for robust and scalable GameFi development.
The partnership will enable Wemade to facilitate more complex earning schemes for its P2E games, run tamperproof analytics against game activity, and reduce on-chain storage costs.
Overall, Wemade remains committed to expanding its blockchain ecosystem beyond GameFi, supporting DEXs, NFT marketplaces, and other Web3 applications on its L1 mainnet.
