When Does John Mulaney’s New Comedy Special ‘Baby J’ Premiere on Netflix? appeared on decider.com by Josh Sorokach.
There are two upcoming streaming releases that I would classify as true comedy events. I’m talking, “take the day off of work, uncork a bottle of wine, and really make a night of it” type affairs. The first is Season 3 of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, which debuts May 30 on Netflix. Season 2 was perfect. No notes. The second event? You guessed it, Frank Stallone.
And by Frank Stallone, I obviously mean John Mulaney’s upcoming Netflix comedy special Baby J.
Debuting later this month on Netflix, Baby J is Mulaney’s third Netflix stand-up special — The Comeback Kid and Kid Gorgeous premiered in 2015 and 2018, respectively — and anticipation has reached fever pitch. Directed by Alex Timbers with music by David Byrne, the upcoming comedy event was shot in Boston’s Symphony Hall in February 2023. When exactly will you be able to stream the special on Netflix? Here’s everything you need to know.
When Is The John Mulaney: Baby J Netflix Release Date?
Baby J debuts Tuesday, April 25, 2023, on Netflix.
What Time Will John Mulaney: Baby J Be On Netflix?
Netflix is based out of California, so Baby J will be available to stream at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (3:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time) beginning Tuesday, April 25. If the clock strikes 12:00 (or 3:00 a.m. for folks on the East Coast) and you don’t see the special, give it a moment, hit refresh, and then enjoy the show!
What To Watch Before The John Mulaney: Baby J Netflix Premiere:
There’s a lot of fun John Mulaney content on Netflix. If you want to revisit the former SNL’s previous specials, Kid Gorgeous, The Comeback Kid, and New In Town are all available on the streamer. If you’re looking for something a little bit different (but still hilarious), John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch and Oh, Hello On Broadway are also on Netflix.
Decider also recommends Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby, Taylor Tomlinson: Look at You, Mae Martin: Sap, and Mike Birbiglia: My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend (all of which are on Netflix).
