Dolph Ziggler is one of the male WWE Superstars who had the opportunity of getting involved in a relationship with a movie or mainstream celebrity. Stacy Keibler was another one of those names who had been involved in a relationship with George Clooney before getting married to her current husband, Jared Pobre. Kelly Kelly also dated Ice Hockey star Sheldon Shourey.

As for Dolph Ziggler, he was apparently seeing Hollywood star & stand-up comedian Amy Schumer for a brief timespan. Rumors about the relationship were all over the internet but it was never really spoken about in public until Amy decided to talk about it and it appears that her experience wasn’t that good.

The Hollywood actress once appeared in an interview with CONAN on TBS back in 2013 where she opened up for the first and only time about her brief relationship with The Showoff of the WWE. It was apparently not usual for Amy to date someone like Ziggler who was coming from a different industry,

“I dated a wrestler for a little while last year. [Was he well-known?] I think, maybe. I don’t know.

When we dated and like I couldn’t remember the names of the wrestlers, I’d be like did you beat Stillborn, like just guessing the names. I don’t know, it wasn’t my world.”

Reason behind Amy Schumer and Dolph Ziggler’s breakup

The Trainwreck movie star also talked about the reasons which dragged her relationship with Dolph Ziggler to come to an end. Admittedly, it was their sex life where Amy was slower in comparison to a pro like the former world champion,

“We were just very different sexually. Like he was very active in bed, you know, and like moving around, and my style, I like like laying there.”

“He’s in like such a good shape when you’re naked with someone you want to be the one bringing the thunder, you know. I wanna be able to whisper things like ‘you’re welcome’ or like ‘you owe me for this’ like that kind of… (…) I’m used to dating kind of chubby-ish comics, when they take their shirt off you’re like, ‘how are you not a woman?’ Like that kind of a guy. Dolph Ziggler has been in a number of relationships with a number of women especially from wrestling over the past few years in addition to Schumer. The list includes former WWE Diva Sunny, Maria Kanellis, Dana Brooke, and Nikki Bella. Not to mention, he was seen in on-screen relationships with the likes of Lana, Vickie Guerrero, and AJ Lee.

In her book, Incomparable, which Nikki Bella wrote alongside her twin sister Brie, she discussed her relationship with a WWE star before moving on to John Cena. While the exact name wasn’t dropped by the former WWE Divas Champion, we assume it could be Dolph Ziggler about cheating on her with one of her own buddies in the women’s locker room. Nikki and Dolph later also featured on Total Divas to feature in a romantic triangle along with Cena.
