Xbox gamers treated to multiple free games you can claim in 10-day Christmas giveaway appeared on www.gamingbible.com by Lewis Parker.
If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber then you’ve got something extra to be thankful for this Christmas, as Microsoft and EA are teaming up to give you one of the best first-person shooters of the last decade for free (and you get Battlefield 1 too, I guess).
As revealed on the Xbox Wire blog, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are getting treated to new gifts every day leading up to Christmas (starting from right this second).
“In the spirit of giving this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will earn even more with EA Play’s holiday countdown,” stated EA’s Global Corporate Communications Director Charlie Fortescue, “running from December 17 through December 26.”
Now just to remind you in case you were unaware, you’ll need an active EA Play membership to claim these gifts… which sounds like an extra charge until you remember that EA Play is included as standard in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.
You’ll still need to sign up for an EA Play account though, so I guess you could argue that the real payment is all that free consumer data you’ll be sending EA’s way.
There are a few things in here you might not care about, like some skins for Apex Legends and Battlefield 2042 and some team packs for EA Sports College Football 25 and EA Sports FC 25, but there are a couple of free games you definitely will want to claim.
First up, you got the “Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack” for The Sims 4. That does cost almost a tenner so, a decent freebie if you own The Sims 4.
Then there’s Battlefield 1: Revolution, which is the super duper edition of Battlefield 1 that also includes the Premium Pass and four expansion packs.
And last but certainly not least, you got Titanfall 2: Ultimate Edition. Look, if you’ve not played this by now, this is your sign that you should. Just an absolute banger of a game, offline and online.
Alright, now announce that you’re working on Titanfall 3 and you’ll have really made my Christmas, EA.
