Laporte on verge of Ronaldo link-up as Man City accept Al Nassr transfer bid appeared on talksport.com by Josh Fordham.
Aymeric Laporte is the latest Premier League star who could be moving to the Saudi Pro League.
Man City have accepted a bid for the 29-year-old defender from Al Nassr.
It means he could become new teammates with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane at the Saudi club.
Laporte saw his game time restricted last season, making just 12 Premier League appearances.
The likes of Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, John Stones and Manuel Akanji were often preferred to him as they collected a famous treble.
City went out and splashed £77.6million to sign centre-back Josko Gvardiol, further pushing Laporte down the pecking order.
The 29-year-old still has two years left on his City contract, but is thought to be open to the move.
The French born defender, who plays his international football for Spain, joined the Manchester club in 2018 and he has made 180 appearances.
They paid £57m to sign him from Athletic Bilbao and he has gone on to win 11 trophies.
This includes an incredible five Premier League titles and the Champions League.
