NEWTOWN, CT — Former President Bill Clinton grabbed a slice in Newtown on Sunday.
The nation’s 42nd commander-in-chief popped into Papa Al’s on Barnabas Road off Interstate 84, just long enough to grab a quick bite and take some photos with the staff.
Chef Dritan Hodza told Patch that Clinton dropped by (“just him and his bodyguards”) and ordered a slice and some garlic knots.
Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, reside about 40 minutes away in Chappaqua, NY.
