PlayStation Plus subscribers can get access to some exclusive Rocket League content right now, including new cosmetic items for their vehicles.

Ever since Rocket League‘s launch in 2015, a lot of content has been added over the years that maintains the chaotic nature of the rocket-powered soccer arena sports title. This is evident with developer Psyonix giving fans plenty of parts for their vehicles. The latest trailer for Rocket League showed off its sixth season of content, with several items and arenas such as “Neo Tokyo” and a new “Nomad” cross-country van for players to get behind the wheel of. Moreover, PlayStation Plus subscribers who play Rocket League will be able to get access to some exclusive content.

Sony’s PS Plus is the company’s proprietary subscription service, which gives fans access to the online modes of several games played on the console. Alongside that, it also offers fans a variety of exclusive deals and contents. This includes free games every month on PS Plus to exclusive cosmetic DLC that players can try out for themselves. Rocket League is no exception, with an exclusive set of PS Plus DLC for the game that subscribers can download now.

This DLC released earlier this month will offer players four unique customization items for free as long as they have an active PS Plus subscription. Players will be able to obtain the Clodhopper Plus Wheels, Virtual Wave Plus Boost, ROBO-Visor Plus Topper, and Shield Glitch Plus Decal items. These items are exclusive to the Rocket League PlayStation Plus Pack.

As mentioned earlier, these parts are all purely cosmetic changes that can be used to decorate the player’s car in Rocket League. All of these parts will give fans a creative way to decorate their vehicle. The topper for example can inspire a player’s vehicle to take on a Cyclops-inspired look, with cybernetic streaks of red and yellow following them. The shield glitch decal will cover the body in a series of cybernetic looking squares, with the Clodhopper wheels giving a player’s car a similar crimson and yellow color scheme.

Players are no stranger to cosmetics like this for Rocket League, with some updates to the game seeing vehicles taking a crossover-inspired look. The theatrical release of The Batman, for example was celebrated with an exclusive Batmobile skin being added to Rocket League‘s in-game store. That being said, that skin was only available for a very limited time. This set of PS Plus cosmetics won’t be going away nor will it require in-game credits to acquire.

Rocket League is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
